Never forget another birthday – XING birthday reminder

Just sending a short birthday message to your contacts can make a world of difference: They foster a personal relationship and connection, and leave a good impression in the mind of the person celebrating a birthday. Our members already know this, which is why many have added the “Your contacts’ birthdays” box to the XING home page, or use the Premium Powersearch.

In your inbox: the XING birthday reminder.

Even still, a lot of members asked if we could add a feature to remind them about upcoming birthdays, even when they weren’t on the XING platform. They wanted a reminder sent directly to their inbox. So today we’re sending out an early birthday present to all of those members who have requested it, and launching Birthday Reminders for Premium Members.

In the wee hours of the morning, you’ll get an email from XING reminding you of all your contacts’ birthdays that fall on that day. You can send congratulations as you have your first cup of coffee – what could be better than that? We’ve made it easy to do so with links to messaging functions.

Starting today, this feature will be available to all Premium Members. If you don’t wish to receive birthday reminders, you can deactivate it from your Notifications settings.
