From number 76 to the 200 mark: We’re all about sustainable growth

How well I remember that February two years ago, my first day at XING. On the usual first day rounds to meet the entire team, we stopped by the third floor to see the developers, all three of them. Back then, the entire company was housed on two floors; I was employee number 76. A lot has happened since that day. Soon, the ever-expanding company ran out of room on two floors; it seemed as if every department was growing. The developers have increased in size ten times since then! Every month, new employees with new ideas come to Headquarters in Gaensemarkt or to our other offices around the world. One of these newbies is Cristina, part of our ten-person team in Barcelona who support the Spanish-speaking community on XING. Look for her contribution in the near future on “My piece of XING ” in which she’ll share a few of her ideas on reaching out to the Spanish market – and if we’re lucky, will give details on her first weeks at XING Spain. I’m excited to see where it will go from here!
