¡Hola de nuevo! ¿Qué tal os va? Mi español esta mejorando pero todavía me falta mucho para poder escribir este post completamente en español.

Just a few minutes ago we announced the acquisition of Neurona.com, the largest Spanish networking website with more than 830,000 business contacts in Spain and Latin America. Our negotiations with Antonio Gonzalez Barros, CEO of the leading Spanish incubator grupoINTERCOM, who owns the lion share of the company, and Ferran Aznar, CEO and Co-founder of Neurona, were most successful.

I would like to express our strong appreciation and interest in the Spanish market. We sense great opportunities for us as individuals and as a company. Following our first acquisition of eConozco , with over 150,000 members, we now have a *huge number* of Spanish speaking business professionals in Spain and Latin America on the site, which indisputably makes us the market leader in the Spanish business networking market (on top of our already established market leadership in Germany).

At this time, we would also like to thank the team at Neurona for their great work and welcome them to the global XING team. We look forward to meeting all of you in Barcelona – definitely one of the world’s coolest places besides Hamburg.

Great!, congratulations to both Xing and Neurona. My heart was divided before this merging, now it´s easy: networking in spanish speaking countries has got a unique name: XING :)

Should we expect a complete integration with Xing? This is, a migration to a single platform and brand, from the customer perspective?

Muchas felicidades a los equipos de XING y Neurona, es un gran paso adelante hacía una plataforma universal de contactos de negocios.

Xing With Another Spanish Buyout

Fresh off its buyout of eConozco in March, Germany-based business network Xing has bought out Spain’s Neurona. No price was disclosed on the acquisition. Neurona claims about 830K business contacts, which would make it larger than eConozco which had…

Much of the success of Neurona is due to is very open structure, while XING definitely is not that open, but has a mch better interface.

I would love to see nte new venture oper as Neurona is, but using XING”s interface.

Hellow, Mr. Hinrichs,
Glad to meet you by this post, and congratulations for the acquisition of Neurona. As a member of this net, I expect that the services may preserve the same high qualitie it did in our old useful and dear net. I’m not a bussiness person, so maybe people like me are not the main interest of Xing. Anyway, I’m planning, after the courtesy entrance gift, to have Premium account, without any doubt, its better. I’m concerned about our visibilitie in the net. Just a few days ago, only with typing my name in Google, into the firsts results was my public profile in Neurona. I’ve been trying to look for my public profile in Xing, even adding this word to the research, and nothing appears. I know you’re actually adjusting all the information, but it would be interesting not to forget that the profiles in Xing, Neurona, or another serious Net, are highly desiderable for people that works with their public image as principal reference. I prefered to write this comment in this blog, because maybe into Xing you have too much work, and it wouldn’t arrive directly to you. With my best wishes. I’m sure we will have all a long way together,
Lázara María Lladó Sánchez
