I am not sure yet, if I really like Twitter or not. Its more convenient than blogging and definitely much easier to use on my mobile. I just discovered two amazing websites from Dave Troy who does a Mashup from Flickr, Twitter and GoogleMaps. This is really the live web: twittervision, flickrvision. We could easy do a xingvision
Update: take a look at Troy’s things in 3D

As long as you keep the signal-to-noise ratio and the dose balanced… One or two birds twittering might be enjoyable, more could be distracting, but a large flock of birds twittering at sunrise right in that tree opposite to your window is absolutely annoying. No Twitter for me, thanks.
And this is not the end! … waiting for http://www.brabblr.com
Hey Lars,
Xingvision sounds cool, why not? I admit it, I also take a 20 minute bite out of my 12 hour XING day and flirt with Twitter
If you like to get more information about Twitter and the like, including a good list of tips and mashups, look what Mark wrote:

By the way, if you are looking for the best free mobile twitter client, avoiding SMS cost and working on any Java enabled phone, check it out here:

one of the really cool features of twitter is the mashupability as shown by dave troy and others. you have an api, sms, chatbots, rss and the website itself as connectors.
so what would xingvision look like?
Sarik, Thanks for your inputs. I really like to first link and am now a follower of Darth Vader: http://twitter.com/darthvader
Andreas, since we are currently building our API and testing a few things, i am sure that you will find very soon some very cool things.
the 3d-twittervision is really cool. it would be great if you could hand it the rss-feed of your friends updates and go to fullscreen mode.
oh and get another monitor for that or you wont get things done…
@lars: i’m already thinking about how to combine them. the problem is that you have to match the profiles of both platforms for some interesting mashups. but since im not a code-hacker ill just sit back and wait for these “cool tools”…
