Did anyone watch all these (101) movies and can he lable himself as a movie literate? I was impressed by the list film critic Jim Emerson compiled … and I am pretty sure that more great movies like Starwars are missing.

This list is definitely incomplete. The last year of the 20th century was 1999 when MATRIX came into the cinemas. This is the most important film for me of the 20th century.
It simultaneoulsly introduced the film and radical new understanding of Reality for the 21st century.
The Wachowski brithers did it!
